[edit]You have Mark Pope, a professional basketball player as his cofounder when in fact it's a Mark Pope that was bought out by Fred Ebrahimi in 1981 before Quark ever became successful. The information in the previous update was accurate, if you view the IRS 990 forms for those organizations. I'd rather read semething promotional rather than inaccurate, but you're the computer geeks.
This looks like a publicity blurb as opposed to an Encyclopedia article.--Jburstein 11:28, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
I concur. It looks like it was copied and pasted from his personal website. It also focuses mainly on his philanthropy rather than what made him famous and what made him able to give so much money. --halolauren 17:48, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

External Link: Please add an external link to Tim Gill's social networking website http://www.connexion.org

Not done: Per WP:EL, we don't provide links to social networking sites except on articles about those sites themselves. Should that site establish independent notability and get its own wikipage, the link could be on that page. It does not, however, belong on this one. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:29, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Merger proposal (GAF)
[edit]Gill Action Fund should be merged with Tim Gill. There's nothing that justifies a separate article. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 04:51, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. GAF is well notable on its own, our readers are not bettered by making this a larger footnote on a BLP. Gleeanon409 (talk) 08:32, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Merger proposal #2 (Gill Foundation)
[edit]Gill Foundation should be merged with Tim Gill. There's nothing that justifies a separate article. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 04:53, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Where they live
[edit]It’s highly unlikely that *they* live in Colorado (see personal life) if his hubby is US Ambassador to Switzerland. Boscaswell talk 02:33, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
