Championship Claims
[edit]I see no references for the championships claimed. When I went to the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation home page (http://www.ibjjf.org/results.htm) I do not find Mr. Cartmell's name listed on any of the World Championship results pages. I would like to see some independent verification of his championships. Also, if his titles and world silver medal aren't from the IBJJF, the sponsoring organization(s) should be given. I also find it misleading to talk about "the prestigious Copa Pacifica de Jiu Jitsu" tournament when it is just a tournament run by his instructor at Pacifica High School in Mr. Cartmell's home town of Garden Grove, California. You make it sound like a big international tournament instead of a local event. Papaursa (talk) 00:22, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Claim of 2nd in the world has been removed and replaced with documented results from the IBJJF Pan-American events. Although he appears to have been the only competitor in his black belt division (unlike other divisions, no runners-up are given), that's not his fault. Papaursa (talk) 18:01, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
