Starting the discussion here in tandem with the discussion at BLP Noticeboard: Tim Bagley regarding recent edits [1] and [2]. Inviting editors GiantSnowman, Groundling95 and Nil Einne to this Talk Page. To play both sides of the argument, there are a few sources that state bagley is gay and that he lost his longtime partner to AIDS. However, there are also sources that state Bagley is straight and has never said he was gay. There are even polls taken that rank his sexuality: [3], though neither are reliable enough to even entertain at WP. The only real proof of any disclosure on the subject is a podcast with the BLP himself: [4] where he clearly talks about being gay, losing his partner of 10 years due to AIDS. This sources is directly from the BLP himself. The content should be reinstated, and if Groundling95 wishes to revert again, then they should bring a reason to the Talk Page before doing so, backed by WP policy.
