Overview
[edit]Disambiguation links (per Dablinks)
[edit]- None to be fixed.
External links (per Checklinks)
[edit]- Three links to be fixed see here.
Visual aspect
[edit]- Visually, the article is OK.
Infobox
[edit]- Remove citations.
Usage of files
[edit]- Three images are used, which have rationale, though, the image of Britney Spears is irrelevant to the article and should be removed. Plus, the caption doesn't really refer to the Release and reception section. It should be changed to: "Christina Aguilera's (pictured) appearance on the song was highly praised by music critics."
- Done
- The single cover should be changed to at least 300x300. Not mandatory, though, there are other versions of it online and we don't need it to be of low quality. It does have a rationale.
- The cover is 220x212?
Prose
[edit]Lead
[edit]- "since Mayfield was credited as a co-writer of "Tilt Ya Head Back"." → irrelevant to the lead section; instead add Curtis Mayfield to the initial part that lists the writers.
- I've removed it
- "Most contemporary critics were positive toward the song, who praised the duo's vocal and deemed it as one of the album's highlights." → "Upon the release of Sweat, "Tilt Ya Head Back" received generally positive reviews from contemporary music critics, who picked it as one of the album's highlights." If you want you can also point out that the duo's vocal performance, pairing if you will, (not just duo's vocal) attained both criticism and praise, as it was not praised by all of them.
- Is it really necessary for "Upon the release..."? Also, "most critics" does not mean "all critics", as I pointed out in the lead?
Promotion
[edit]- This section should be placed after Release and reception.
- Not really, they performed the track a month before its official release
- "That sh--" → "That sh-- {{sic}}"
- Done
- "John Walker from MTV Buzzworthy blog" → remove blog
- "Nelly gifted Aguiler" → misspelled Aguilera
- Done
Release and reception
[edit]- "praised the "Superfly" sample used in the track and praised its musical style" → please copyedit so 'praised' isn't repeated
- "duo's vocal" → "duo's vocal performance"
- "Although it was expected to be a hit, however "Tilt Ya Head Back"" → incorrect; awkward wording?
- Done all. Thanks for the review so quick! — Simon (talk) 04:45, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
References
[edit]- All fine.
Outcome
[edit]- Passing. Congratulations! prism △ 14:46, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
