Not Found Sources
[edit]The first source is just not found, so I shall delete it. The third source (about patent) says it's unavailable so will delete that too.
- U.S. Patents prior to 1976 are available as images; the Tilt-A-Whirl patent is indeed available, thus the link has been restored. Zzorse 23:49, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
There is no source saying that John Prine was found on a tilt a whirl on April 7, 2020, the day of his death. It appears to be a reference to his song "When I Get to Heaven." The full verse is "And then I'm gonna get a cocktail: vodka and ginger ale / Yeah, I'm gonna smoke a cigarette that's nine miles long / I'm gonna kiss that pretty girl on the tilt-a-whirl." Prine's music means a lot to people, but editing wikipedia articles in his honor is not the way to go.
List Section?
[edit]Is the list section really necessary? It doesn't really add anything to the article and is far from complete. 70.96.228.30 (talk) 16:44, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Seven Motors
[edit]How does the seven motors version work? The cars are free-spinning in normal models of the Waltzer, which uses one large central motor. Do the seven motors work the same way as one big one? Still spinning from the centre? Why seven? Is it coincidental with the number of cars? This is something I'd like to see explained, I think it's a common question to pop up in a reader's mind. 188.29.165.26 (talk) 14:52, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
Redundant sections
[edit]The section Description duplicates much of the lead section. Can someone fix it? Will (Talk - contribs) 18:24, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
Add current rides

Who makes them?
[edit]What is the relationship between Sellmer Manufacturing in Faribault, MN, and Larson International of Plainview, TX, both of whom are said to be the manufacturer? Hieronymus Illinensis (talk) 04:52, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
I went on an... I guess a similar ride?
[edit]I've never ridden the Tilt-a-Whirl, but I've ridden the Scrambler at Six Flags.
P.S.: This is not what I'm saying but SpongeBob made a similar ride in the episode "Glove World R.I.P." called the Tilt-a-Hurl. 2603:7080:DC02:5FB5:7CEE:5F67:D5CE:763D (talk) 11:52, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
