Expansion
[edit]Could someone add a section on his work in Cracker Island by Gorillaz? Thanks :). Frank VII 20:49, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
Requested move 18 November 2020
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Consensus to not move this article, but to move the snowmobile article and to place the disambiguation page at the base name. (non-admin closure) BegbertBiggs (talk) 14:16, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
– The snowmobile is no longer the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Thundercat. The page views for the snowmobile rarely, if ever, surpass the musician's page views, and there are many more page links to the musician's page than there are to the snowmobile's. In addition, the snowmobile's recent page view spikes seem to be correlated to significant events in the musician's career (1 spike in April after the release of It Is What It Is, and 1 recently after Thundercat's Adult Swim Festival performance), suggesting that people are looking for the musician's page instead. 824GOAT (talk) 08:49, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose first, support second - title swaps are a bad idea, and given ThunderCats (disambiguation) the dab page might want to be upended and have the two Thundercat entries first. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:00, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose first, support second as above. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:43, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose first, support second as above with DAB at base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:09, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose first, support second per reasons listed above; have a disambiguation page at the basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 16:49, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose 1st, support 2nd per Paintspot. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:12, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose first, support second - ThunderCats (disambiguation) needs to be moved to Thundercat instead.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:54, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support second and move ThunderCats (disambiguation) to Thundercat, per the above. Given the relative popularity of the cartoon, it seems unlikely that there will be a primary topic for the term in the singular. BD2412 T 22:02, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
