It is reasonably well written.

"Though she is in love with him, she soon" - perhaps "Though being in love with him, she"

" the book; " - replace semicolon with comma

"her widowed grandmother the Duchess of Tamworth" - suggest adding commas between "the Duchess of Tamworth"

I've made all the changes to the prose. Which white background are you referring to? If you mean the book cover, I'm not sure why there is all that space in the infobox.
