Not sure if this is where I put this, but there seems to be an error in the intro: it reads that the album was released on "April 5, 1959, by Crest Records[...]However the song was off Billboard and the airways by March 30, 1959." According to Billboard, it stayed on the charts for eleven weeks, peaking May 4 [1]. Not sure when it entered the charts, though.
