Fair use rationale for Image:Three Kingdoms- Resurrection of the Dragon.jpg

[edit]

Image:Three Kingdoms- Resurrection of the Dragon.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I removed two nearly identical links to a free ebook reinterpretation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and re-added the relevant link to the official website. The links to the ebook have little bearing on this movie and are inappropriate for a wikipedia article. Iarann (talk) 03:37, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Differences with history/rotk

[edit]

why does this article make it sound like it followed closely either the historical or luo's account when it didn't... Chensiyuan (talk) 08:13, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Novel

[edit]

From the introduction: 2008 Chinese film based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Lee. - Is it a novel named "Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon" written by Daniel Lee? Or is this only a bad explanation of "based on Romance of Three Kingdoms and directed by Daniel Lee"? Please give me the reference for Daniel Lee's novel, otherwise I will rephrase this intro. 6 years later and the article is still chock-a-block with ambiguous and outright wrong statements that don't arise from lack of knowledge about the subject, but from poor command of English. The article needs radical surgery by someone who cares. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.215.115.31 (talk) 17:12, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

I added a couple of "citation needed" templates to the Production section. The "Differences" section could also do with some references. At present it appears to have been copied from another source (maybe http://wuyouwuyi.blogspot.com/2008/04/three-kingdoms-dragon-official-site-and.html - although it's possible the copying was done the other way round). Taiwan News had posted:

  • "Andy Lau: Enough of ancient Chinese pics." Taiwan News. February 9, 2007 at www.taiwannews.com.tw/etn/news_content.php?id=386041 - Unfortunately it seems to be dead

There is another source about Qian Zhijun being a part of the movie:

Also these are duplicates of the Qian Zhijun source I already posted, but here goes:
