Fair use rationale for Image:304451261 d71aafa901.jpg

[edit]

Image:304451261 d71aafa901.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fails verification

[edit]

moved from my talk page

Hello, why did you add the [failed verification] tag to my recent addition of a reference in Three Days Grace discography? The source I used is used a few more times in the article but without that tag. Thank you. --- Pancakey-sshi 20:18, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because the link provided doesn't list the song it's supposed to be referencing: "The High Road"; nor does it mention the band at all. Hence, it fails verification. The fact that it's a blog doesn't help with WP:RS either. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:23, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I know that blogs are difficult, but as I said, the source is used a few more times in the article. The link does mention the band and the song! It even mentions the band twice (Chalk Outline on #9, The High Road on #17). Please check again! --- Pancakey-sshi 20:36, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Odd. I searched for both. My real concern was that I was looking at the No. 37 position for reference 20 and didn't see them listed there. Self-reverted. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:43, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's mentioned in a .png image file, so via the search function you can't find it. Thanks! --- Pancakey-sshi 20:47, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The High Road single

[edit]

The High Road (song) has been listed on this page as a single by Three Days Grace. It however redirects to the Transit of Venus (album) page. The High Road is not listed as a single there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Poketamonsta (talkcontribs) 07:34, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
