[edit]Out of date because he is now Minister of the Interior (October 2009) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.146.248.20 (talk) 19:24, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
He will assume office on 28 October, the article is just fine. HerkusMonte (talk) 15:26, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Pronunciation of the name
[edit]As the name is French and not German at all, it is fatuous to talk about "German pronunciation". -- 84.180.246.45 (talk) 13:41, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it makes perfect sense. Since he is a German citizen, the German pronunciation of his last name is the correct one. My ancestors came from Italy, but as a US citizen, I always use the English pronunciation of my name and consider it to be the correct one. BTW, his German name is pronounced pretty much the same as the French one. German has borrowed lots of words from French and some of them maintain their French pronunciation.
