[edit]The archived PA House profile link (here) has a photo of Dempsey's successor Cappelli, for some reason. The rest of that page is accurate.--A. Gorilla (talk) 04:13, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- A second note: that archived profile lists Dempsey as joining the House on November 17, 1987, but that was the date of the special election. He must have been sworn-in to office subsequently, but the House Journal Archives are missing the November session days in which that must have happened. This journal for December 1, 1987 refers to a session day on November 24, 1987, which I suspect is the date of actual swearing-in. For now, I just left the election date as the day of joining the house. If the correct journal is later posted, someone can correct it.--A. Gorilla (talk) 20:00, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
