[edit]The original text found on the Portland site, is a biography from Thomas Viloteau. The article that is submitted to Wikipedia is his edited direct biography in which I placed on Wikipedia. The direct source is from Thomas Viloteau.

- Hi. I'm afraid there are several issues with that. First, we need verification to use previously published text. Please see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission or Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Second, if I'm understanding you correct about the "direct source", Wikipedia prefers material written by individuals not associated closely with the subjects. Please see WP:COI and Wikipedia:Autobiography. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:27, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
In reply the direct source was an interview with him, but it was for personal reasons so it wasn't published. His biography and overall CV is what it is, and when he performs concerts the same general information is sent to everyone. Dates of competitions can't change, neither can the name of the competition so I'm unsure how to change that. In addition the editing of the article is poorly done because whoever did it has now misspelled his name as well as taken out important information pertaining to his biography. Lastly, when trying to reference to Portland's site, as well as any other site that still has his concert bio posted, the reference remains and the paragraph was still taken out. The information again is generally the same. It is a concert bio, but there were edits to it. TO prevent this from happening again what can be done? Can the page return to how I formatted it originally? I do not want to fix the article again and have someone edit it with mistakes. I don't care if people edit articles, it's wikipedia, but not when the edits are wrong. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaileebee (talk • contribs) 18:13, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Furthering my previous comment, I am not writing this to be vindictive, but I am curious what actions are taken to further this. I have again edited and re-wrote the original article. I have kept the remaining sources, but I cannot reference my interview, because again it was never published. With this in mind, what further steps need to be taken if any? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaileebee (talk • contribs) 19:21, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
