Citations from Burnard

[edit]

It appears that the current information on this page relies almost entirely upon Trevor Burnard's book on Thistlewood, but none of the quotes from this book are properly sourced. Proper sourcing to pages in Burnard's book should be added, as well as a greater variety of sources. Visualpleasure (talk) 03:57, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have Burnard's book, though I did read it some time ago. I'm trying to rectify the problems by quoting from Douglas Hall's book on Thistlewood, which is on my bookshelf. It will take me quite a bit of time, though.Mikesiva (talk) 16:29, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

His arrival in vineyard pen https://scholarworks.wm.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=4914&context=etd mentioned at least 160 times. Best wishes Adin-Atherton (talk) 12:33, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but it would be helpful if you could put in the citations at the relevant places in the article. Reading Hall's book on Thistlewood was horrendous enough. I don't particularly want to read more about this brutality!Mikesiva (talk) 21:23, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
