I decided to lat my thoughts out here AVAVAYA. I have corrected anything that did not comply with Wikipedia's manual of style, but have some additional questions:
Dates on Wikipedia are usually standardised to either day month year (11 May 2023) or month day year (May 11, 2023). Could you standardise this in the article (including references)?
The line In addition to the already mentioned, Thomas Sinkjær actively takes part in several other boards and organizations. doesn't add much. Can it be cut?
Awards with no citation will have to go I'm afraid.
References to other Wikipedia articles are not allowed. Please try to replace.
Does Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog grant any post-nomials? If so, they should be included.
Thank you so much for your effort Schminnte - I appreciate it very much ♥️
I have followed up on your questions as best I could:
Dates standardized to May 16, 2023
I agree with the line "In addition to the already mentioned, Thomas Sinkjær actively takes part in several other boards and organizations" not contributing much. But instead of deleting it, I moved it, qualified it (giving examples), and added references.
Cut the references that had no citations.
Removed/replaced references that utilized links to Wikipedia articles.
Added the postnominal abbreviation for Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog (Orders, decorations, and medals of Denmark - I did not know of this) - I am unsure if it is added correctly (after the name in the lead section, without punctuation). I tried to make a mouse over "tool-tip" kind of thing in case readers wonder about this "R".
I have also tried to figure out how to
add Thomas Sinkjærs ORCID id (I am an ardent advocate of persistent identifiers, and as a bonus, it makes it easy for people to have all his publications listed if they want).
add categories.
Hope I did it correctly.
Such a learning experience - I love it :-)
I don't think the page tells people much about Thomas's contributions to making the world a better place (unless they explore his publications). I will have to add at a later stage - I start with this.
I am excited to hear what you think - if the page is ready for the main space?
