Would this be Tom?
[edit]Just wondering if this would be Tom?. So far at present, the lede suggests he was more notable for being Richard's son than anything else; I feel we ought to add his job, career etc to the opening sentence. I'll dig through my Grimaldi sources to see if I can find anything. Cassiantotalk 17:03, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, yes, that is indeed Tom. Tom also wrote some poetry and plays, I think, and was a singer too from what I can gather. I just closed the windows with all my refs plus some I hadn't got round to yet and am just about to switch off for the evening. I usually toss all sorts of info in and then go back to expand the lead - or someone kindly does it for me as I hate doing leads and my prose is not the greatest anyway! - No problem, unfortunately we are still lacking dates for birth and death, which makes him impossible to trace online owing to his other family who all share the two names! What was it with these Georgian theatrical and political families, they all seem to share the same name rather confusingly! Yes, that's how I work too, body first, lede last. I would be happy to expand this so you don't have to worry. I have access to the British Newspaper Archive, but so far nothing for any of them as I think they pre-date the database.
