[edit]The reference to Powell as the basis for the character of Micawber in David Copperfield seems unlikely. The wiki page on Micawber's employer Uriah Heep suggests that Powell may have been the original for Heep. Micawber is generally assumed to have been based on Dickens' father. In my new lede (28/1/16), I've referenced Micawber, for the sake of consistency with the main article. But perhaps someone could check the sources for either claim.
