I don't think the John Le Mesurier linked here can be the right father, if you check the dates. Otherwise, very helpful, thank you.
Agreed. The page says: "Rev. Thomas Le Mesurier (28 August 1756 – 14 July 1822) was a British lawyer, cleric and polemicist. He was born on Alderney, in the Channel Islands, the fourth son of John Le Mesurier, Hereditary Governor of that island" - now, if you click on the link, that John Le Mesurier's dates are given as "1781-1843". So was Thomas's father born AFTER at least four of his own sons???? Will this ever be revised? |

The John Le Mesurier (formerly) linked here was actually John Le Mesurier III, there were two other Governors with that name. John Le mesurier II was obviously the father. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.56.72 (talk) 04:40, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
