According to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography article Jermyn, Sir Thomas (bap. 1573, d. 1644/5), these two are the same person, in that the Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk was earlier the Andover MP. But not the Baron. Charles Matthews (talk) 18:39, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The ODNB ref gives Jermyn MP for Suffolk in 1614; and thereafter for Bury St Edmunds, as in the article. Charles Matthews (talk) 13:52, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
