How this page/individual meets criteria 7, 8 and 3 of Wikipedia:Notability (academics): - Main criterium met is #7 "The person has had a substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity." Significant coverage?
[edit]Hi LizK91. I was hesitant to mark the page as reviewed as I skimmed a bunch of the sources and had trouble finding ones that include "significant coverage" of Roulet. Which of the sources do you think have the most in-depth coverage of Roulet himself? As I'm posting this I see the discussion linked above on notability and will review that as well. - thanks a lot for taking the time!
- Yes - the page meets three criteria of Wikipedia:Notability (academics) and I understand them to differ a bit from Wikipedia:Notability (people) on coverage. A lot of it is media mentions about research or op-eds.
- but in terms of coverage on Roulet himself (and independent from the sources so I eliminated sources from his academic institution) that is what I found (by order of significance)

- Thanks LizK9. Some of those are by Roulet himself, and others are WP:INTERVIEWs containing mostly primary content. I'm generally wary about using event bios, which are often written by the speakers/presenters themselves (or their home institution's PR team). Also, I marked the page as reviewed based mainly on the NACADMIC criteria.
