Parentage of Thomas Greene, 2nd governor of Maryland
[edit]I do quite a lot of genealogical research on early Maryland and every book I have read states that the parents of Gov. Greene were Thomas Greene and Helen Calvert, the daughter of George Calvert, first Baron Baltimore and Ann Mynne, his wife. Perhaps the father was twice married, but the governor's mother was Helen Calvert. Gov. Greene was a cousin of Leonard and Cecilius Calvert. Also his 2nd wife was Mrs. Winifred Seyborne, nee Calvert. Maybe someone could check my facts before I change the article.Carmaskid (talk) 00:51, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
