[edit]Which Richard Saunders? Just possibly s:Saunders, Richard (1613-1687?) (DNB00). Charles Matthews (talk) 20:11, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
The ODNB article makes it clear that recent scholarship paints a somewhat different picture. The identification with the Thomas Collier of Surrey is perhaps only tentative. Collier was associated with the army as a chaplain, and was close to the Putney debates and the Levellers, though not one himself. After the Restoration he was still active in the south-west. Arian polemicist?
[edit]Do we have a source that he was an Arian polemicist? There hadn't been an Arian on earth for a millenium so it seems odd to me. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 13:50, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
