What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Contacted by e-mail asking not to edit this article

I received an e-mail today from a staff member at this college that included the following sentence: "I would kindly ask you to not make further revisions on our Thomas College Wikipedia page as I am the authority on our brand and what is listed on the page, and you are not." If that person is reading this Talk page, please know that these demands are not acceptable and will not be honored by any Wikipedia editor. ElKevbo (talk) 23:06, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yup. This is a Wikipedia article about the college, not the college's article about themselves. If they want to publish the latter, they will have to do so elsewhere. AndyTheGrump (talk) 00:01, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
