Updated Sourced Information
[edit]I have considerably expanded this page using a few available sources. Most of the information on Barratt seems to come from Donald Gee, which is unsurprising as Gee knew him and set out to document the history of Pentecostalism. Nevertheless, other sources would be useful. Frodsham wrote some Pentecostal history too and knew Barratt so perhaps there is information in his books (which I do not have).
I do not have information on Barratt's family. Parent names, and was he married? did he have children? If he was married, it is strange his wife is not mentioned so perhaps he was not.
There is also some lack of clarity in the sources I have available as to when he went to America and when he returned to Oslo. As he died in Oslo, he presumably did return.
Other editors may also wish to consider whether I have given too much weight to any information. There is more about his trip to Sunderland than his other travels, but this is just down to the sources: Gee is interested in Pentecostalism in the UK in particular so we know all about that but less about the other trips. The link with Boddy is important, but I wonder what we may be missing about his other travels.Sirfurboy (talk) 11:35, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
