Mrs. William Brown Meloney

[edit]

Couldn't find any reference to Rose Franken (Mrs. William Brown Mahoney) having edited This Week. http://dogpile.com/dogpile/ws/results/Web/!22Rose%20Franken!22/2/0/0/Relevance/zoom=off/qi=21/qk=20/bepersistence=true/_iceUrlFlag=7?_IceUrl=true Not in the cited NYT article either. So I am removing it. If you have a good source, just put it back again. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 05:44, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are two William Brown Meloneys, thus two Mrs. WBMs. WMB Sr. is the wife of this Mrs.; WBM Jr. (Editor Mrs. Meloney's child) is the novelist of that name. The one that was the editor of this magazine was Marie Mattingly ("Missy") Meloney, the wife of WBM Sr. Good Ol’factory (talk) 09:06, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
