Other Think Tanks

There are several think tanks on the internet. The first that I heard about, several years ago, was the Library Think Tank - #ALATT. At that time it had 11,000 members. Today it has 53,000. I had asked the reference librarian what a particular kitchen tool was. She took a picture of it and submitted it. The first guess was wrong, but later someone else found the correct result. It is currently on Facebook, so you need to be a member, even to look at existing data.

There are other similar internet sites. One is reddit, which also needs membership to post, but the data that is there is open. I believe that I was told of other similar sites years ago, but I don't remember any details.
