Request

[edit]

I'm removing the plot synopsis for a period of time per a request by the filmmakers on this IP talk page. I don't know if the comment is meant to be permanent (which is not an option) or just temporarily until it gets a street release, which isn't ideal but potentially feasible. Something that can be somewhat of a work around is that I didn't actually see the film myself and took this from this website. I've left them the warning that Wikipedia is not censored as far as spoilers go (although I miss that option) and that it's possible (even likely) that this will be reverted, so I figure it'll go from there. It's the only part of the article that they seem to really be sticking to and I don't know that this really harms the overall article as a whole per se, although it does leave it incomplete. It's somewhat of a reasonable enough request and they were trying to be polite about it, so I figure I'll leave it off for now. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 14:12, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that it has been released, I have restored the plot summary, twice. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:22, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's probably the film's creators that have removed it. I don't have a strong inclination either way, but at this point it would certainly fall under the uncensored guidelines and it should be expected at this point that the information would be out there. • I saw the message on your talk page just now, so it is the film crew. I feel for them, but we don't remove or hide info for spoiler warnings anymore. The only thing that I can say on their behalf is that I hadn't seen the movie so I was going off of what someone else wrote. Per the comments on the talk page it looks like this is probably accurate, otherwise I'd say that it could've been removed because it might have contained mistakes. • Hello guys, this is the filmmaker here. I realize I will probably lose this battle eventually, and I agree with underlying tenants. Toykogirl79, you are so sweet and were were incredibly honored to have a wikipedia page written about us at all. It was incredible. I guess if I'm going to lose, I would ask that we wait until March 11th when it has it's actual "release," and then also maybe if we could make it a little shorter, via the wikipedia page on spoilers and narrative being supposed to be "primarily" about the real world impact of the creation, and not primarily about the plot. We worked so hard on this film, it would be so sad for people to have it ruined in the name of encyclopedic knowledge. That being said, I understand the way wikipedia works, and I love wikipedia passionately. I just think it's too bad. Much respect and love, both to you Toykogirl and you Walter, from the USA, Perry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.245.236.181 (talk) 05:38, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've tried to find a bit of a happy medium since I can see the argument on both sides. What I've done is add a few lines to the current version that mostly covers the movie's plot but in less depth than the prior version. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:50, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
