Thessaloniki metro blog
According to WP:ELNO blogs are not suitable as external references. However, the following blog may contain news about the progress of the project and may be consulted by greek readers for up to date information:
"Construction of Phase 2 (the extensions) to Kalamaria (to the southeast) and to Efkarpia (to the north) shall begin before completion of the basic (New Railway Station-Nea Elvetia) line of Phase 1, with projected completion dates of 2014 and 2015 respectively."
This needs to be checked! It is true construction on that line shall start before the completion of the basic line, but the dates are completely wrong. I think it has been announced for the kalamaria line we are looking at a completion date of 2016, while for the efkarpia line nothing has been said yet.
The article also says that by 2018 they should have all the phases of the metro completed! something that is hard to believe when just phase 1 will be complete in late 2014. I suggest the article to write 2020 instead. Also on the infobar on the side, the 19km it writes for all phases of the metro is wrong, the 19km length is only for phases 1 and 2, when phase 3 comes into mind, which then the metro will have a total of 33 stations, the length is much greater.
Just thought i should point these out so some improvements can be made to the article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.190.108.175 (talk) 02:15, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
