Hello,
I cannot find the first reference (Stacey & Banerjee 1974). I think this paper by Banerjee & Mellema is what was meant: [1] However, that presents a _new_ method for determining the ancient earth's field, and refers to "E. Thellier and O. Thellier, Ann. Geophys. 15 (1959) 285" [2] for the original concept. From the title I would guess that this would be the better source for the claim, however, I do not speak french. Also, I am not an expert in this field, could someone please check?

- @Gece-emes: I'm not sure what you mean by not being able to find Stacey & Banerjee 1974, since I have no trouble finding it. You could follow this link, which I have now added to the citation (along with a page number). Having added the citation myself, I can assure you that it is the one I meant. Maybe the citation style is confusing, so I have simplified it. RockMagnetist(talk) 16:49, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
