Point of view issue in third sentence
[edit]It states: "Worryingly, she struggles to understand the concept of a grossly overpriced train ticket, a trait common to most Tory MPs."
It even states a reference to a BBC article. Listen, this is not a Conservapedia page, that sentence is just exordinately ill-fitted for any Wikipedia article. It sounds like an editorial in a student magazine. I'm removing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Norcatch (talk • contribs) 12:13, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Greek/Turkish controversy
[edit]I want to add a section on the Controvesy Villiers has made in London, between the Greek and Turkish communities
http://www.londragazete.com/index.php/cat/19/news/11615/PageName/English_News
Can some neutral person advise if this is suitable to be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.147.247.59 (talk) 16:00, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Link is dead, so issue is dead! Rgds, --Trident13 (talk) 16:23, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
MPs' Expenses: Second London Home
[edit]The Daily Telegraph reported on 11 May 2009 that Theresa Villiers bought a £345,000 property in Kennington. In 2007-08 she claimed a total of £18,181 in parliamentary allowances for this home.
She also has a house in her north London constituency of Chipping Barnet. The house that she bought for £296,500 in May 2004, is an 8 minute drive away from High Barnet Underground station, from which commuters can reach Westminster in about 45 minutes. [1]
- That section is headed Parliamentary expenses and second home. But there is no reference to parliamentary expenses. Valetude (talk) 11:11, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

Personal life
[edit]We have no personal life section here, but on checking the present articles, thepeerage.com ref shows a note of marriage to Sean Wilken (spelt Wilkin in the publication they seem to have written together). Yet, no other mention in any publicity, media or ref or other wise. Is she married, or divorced? Rgds, --Trident13 (talk) 16:23, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- Found enough refs, now divorced, added. Rgds, --Trident13 (talk) 16:48, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Arbitrary kinship mentions
[edit]Her relation to the 1st Earl of Clarendon and the 1st Duke of Buckingham is mentioned but not her relationship to the Earls of Jersey...the 1st Earl of Clarendon was the a son of the 2nd and younger brother of the 3rd Earl of Jersey, while the Buckingham line branched off further back. Why this choice?--L.E./12.144.5.2 (talk) 22:51, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Birth
[edit]In the body of the article she was born in Hunstanton, in the sidebar she was born in Lambeth. Both cannot be true: Hunstanton is in the county of Norfolk, Lambeth is in London. 81.187.45.246 (talk) 16:36, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

Ex-husband's name
[edit]The article body gives his first name as "Sean", as does a book cited; the infobox, thus inexplicably, gives "Sid". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.232.48 (talk) 05:28, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
