OMSI picture from 1980s?
[edit]I wonder if anyone here has a picture of the old Washington Park OMSI they could put up? That's the one I grew up with. I've only ever been to the "new one" one time. Owen (talk) 15:16, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- Owen, There's currently an image of the old location in the History section. Not the best image, but helpful nonetheless. Marking this section as resolved. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:18, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Owen and Another Believer: The picture has now disappeared from the history section. Perhaps this should no longer be marked as resolved? YBG (talk) 04:38, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- Sure, removed. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:17, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- It does seem a little weird to me that the picture we have now has a caption saying "omsi at its former location" when omsi moved in 1992 and that picture was taken in 1994- at that point, it's not a picture of omsi in its old location, but rather just a picture of the building it used to be in in 1994 (i assume the children's museum). Is it appropriate to leave on the page, considering? It IS the former building, but omsi was not located there in the picture as the caption seems to imply. 97.120.2.160 (talk) 21:51, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

1940s pic
[edit]I recently stumbled upon a sketch of the house on Hassalo that was OMSI's first home. It would take some editing to remove extraneous info from what was a publicity for an event. Also, copyright issues need to be resolved. But before I invest much effort, let me ask the question: is it worth my effort? YBG (talk) 17:30, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
