For the record: This IP edit was mine. I am currently travelling without my usual computer, and I happened to make this edit unlogged.
There is a big difference between the additions (today Romania) and (then Ottoman Vassal). The Romania addition gives pertinent information about the birth place of Aman. Someone reading about the birth place may not be familiar with the city and may not know enough about the history of the region to know where or what Wallachia is. The addition "(today Romania)" gives additional information about the birth place. The addition "(then Ottoman Vassal)" does not give any additional information about where he was born, just additional information about Wallachia, which is not the subject of this article. --T*U (talk) 17:20, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
