- ... that when Thelma Bates established the first palliative care team at a British hospital, her colleagues tried to dissuade her from "ruining her career"? Source: The BMJ
Created by GGT (talk). Self-nominated at 17:19, 20 August 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Thelma Bates (physician); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Everything else looks alright, but maybe directly mention the "ruining your career" bit in the article? (As opposed to just being "critical"...) Otherwise the article is new and long enough, thoroughly referenced, hook fact is interesting, and no signs of copyvio. QPQ has been done. LEt me know when the article is updated. - Hi Kingoflettuce. The article did say 'destroy her career', I've tweaked this so now it mirrors the BMJ wording and says 'ruin her career'. Thanks a lot for the prompt review. --GGT (talk) 13:17, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- Not a problem. AGF on offline sources. Cheers, KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 13:25, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
