Comedy
[edit]I don't think that the book should be called science fiction at all. There is no scifi element, it is a comedy, pure and simple.Royalcourtier (talk) 06:31, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Mutant rabbits based on a man-made micro-organism is sufficient. The book also proposes some outrageous alternative history and future to go with it. One might argue that The Man in the High Castle is not science fiction either, only alternative history mixed with the Eastern mysticism via I Ching, having won a Hugo notwithstanding. With supermyx serving a function similar to ice-9, this novel is as much science fiction, with no opinion as to their relative merit, as Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut.Jszigeti (talk) 03:48, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
