Film rating scores
[edit]Seeing as these films are marketed towards and made by/for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints faith, listing only the Rotten Tomatoes critic scores will not reflect the overall reception of the films. Given the fact that the movies are scored much more favorably by its market audience, I am including the IMDb scores for these films. Though we typically don't do so, the article overall would benefit in showing critics vs market audience reception. This article does a great job of explaining why IMDb scores are valid to the movie industry. Any opposers?--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 07:38, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Any opposers?
- WP:UGC user voted web polls are not allowed
- WP:RS they are fundamentally not reliable sources
- DisneyMetalhead has been told this multiple time before, the matter was brought to WP:MOSFILM and discussed again where DisneyMetalhead was expressly told that user voted scores were not acceptable and to stop doing this
- Hiding a comment on a talk page of a DRAFT article is not WP:LOCALCONSENSUS it is an utterly bad faith attempt to ignore the rules.
Note to editors who approve these drafts: If reliable sources are not available then perhaps articles like these do not pass the general notability requirements WP:GNG and should not be created at all. -- 109.79.67.139 (talk) 13:22, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
