Talk:The White Duck
This article is rated Start-class on Wikipedia's content assessment scale. It is of interest to the following WikiProjects: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The "Proppian Analysis of The White Duck" linked as an external file is amateurish. It does not accurately interpret the story or even its own quotes and is clearly facilitated to reach a predetermined conclusion, in the spirit of all poorly written academic papers. It should not be linked from this article as it contributes nothing to a reader's understanding of this fairytale.
Removed "multiple issues" tag
[edit]Around 50 fairytale articles, including this one, had ATU classmarks but were also tagged for notability and other issues. I've looked through them and removed the tags from around half of them, including this page. The article had been worked on since it was tagged and now appears to no longer need the tag. If you wish to reinstate the tag, please do so but also please add a note to the page Wikipedia:WikiProject Folklore/To do/ATU fairytale notability.
