Billboard Hot 100 Peak
[edit]Is there a source for #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 List? Billboard.com has it peaking only at #11 on 4.11.1964

More citations?
[edit]Why is there a "refimprove" tag? The article seems reasonably sourced.2601:153:801:1C70:4C4F:D555:E0D6:484A (talk) 20:32, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
Sourcing
[edit]Back in June 2021, User:Derek R Bullamore added a "Refimprove" tag, which I've deleted because the article seems reasonably sourced. And Derek, do you care to give a reason for tagging the article as needing "additional citations for verification"?2601:153:881:3D60:F8AA:1FD:A70:98B (talk) 20:45, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- Firstly, in June 2021 there were 11 cited sources. Now there are twice that number. However, the article is still insufficiently sourced. I will give you three examples. In the 'Background' section in the Temptations part, there are no references at all supporting three paragraphs of text. In the 'Rita Coolidge cover' section, there is only one reference (apart from those for the chart placings) which does not support all of the text. The 'UB40 cover' section has no references (even following your trimming), again apart from those supporting the chart placings. I would suggest you spend less time questioning another experienced editor's tag placement, and more on getting familiar with WP:V. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 21:07, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
