[edit]If the list's compiler is still around, can I note that I have found some omissions. They include (just before Domingo's Vesti la giubba): An unidentified orchestral item; An unidentified Neapolitan song (sung by Plácido Domingo); Ave Maria (sung by Luciano Pavarotti); E lucevan le stelle (sung by José Carreras); These are on a videotape I've preserved. Perhaps the WP list was compiled from an abridged recording. I won't try to change the article without making a full comparison against the video (which unhelpfully does not include titles of the musical items). Bjenks (talk) 02:24, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
- The three songs you mention are now listed in the article as having been performed but not included on the album. My guess is that these songs were omitted because the length of the album was close to the usual maximum for a compact disc of 74 minutes; adding another song would have required the album to be a 2 CD set or to cut some corners from a technical point of view, which, unfortunately, I don't really understand myself. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:31, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
