[edit]The group is properly called "The 3 Degrees." I have their CDs and it is the number NOT the word Three. The article should be changed to reflect this 99.48.253.223 (talk) 00:54, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Bea Bryant
- I would exercise caution here. The British Hit Singles & Albums book, generally regarded as the UK's 'bible of pop', certainly lists them as 'The Three Degrees'. Thoughts of fellow editors are welcomed, BUT also more third-party reliable source evidence is needed.

- I looked after the the Three Degrees when they were performing at the Night Out Theatre Restaurant Birmingham, and what a pleasure it was, Sheila always asked me what was the latest Gossip. We always had a great laugh fabulous Artist and a joy to see them all 2.97.220.170 (talk) 21:03, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Best of the Three Degrees.jpg
[edit]Image:Best of the Three Degrees.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 04:55, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Nigai Namida--Why a Japanese song?
[edit]I think it'd be a good idea to add some information about why in the world they recorded a song in Japanese. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.20.74.198 (talk) 02:25, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

This article needs some fixing
[edit]About this article.. it doesn’t really look much like an encyclopedia page and someone might have to correct some grammar, and if Tabitha King is in the group while Helen Scott is sick, that means Tabitha is filling in for Helen because that Scott had coronavirus since January 2022, and she is inactive from performing. 2601:406:4200:8E90:A5B3:1A71:B185:3024 (talk) 16:57, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

- I am not entirely sure which stance you are taking, but either way, Facebook is not a reliable source. Please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. This article has suffered for two years, or more, from edit wars claiming all sorts of variants of who is, or who is not, in the group. Not a good look for Wikipedia - nor an entirely reliable sourced version of events. More like a small scale, IP-led, ridiculous warfare of little importance or substance. Frankly, given the ladies are now in their late 70s, it might not be actually worth much more mileage of discussion - except for desisting these ping-pong excesses. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 23:06, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oh ok sorry 2601:406:4200:8E90:25EE:99A3:D67B:8228 (talk) 23:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Derek R Bullamore According to this on what this IP address said, it says that it is only used sometimes for basic information that has to do with the subject of a sentence for information. Otherwise, according to this, we can’t use that, but also see this for example. So shouldn't anyone use any archive website for that information? - Whatever the rights and wrongs, I am pleased to note that this page is now under 'semi-protection' for a full year's duration. I have been absent from Wikipedia due to surgery, so do not intend to go through the whole editing history since early December. At least the tedious edit warring will desist. Thanks, - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 15:26, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for that. I did not know, but I was replying to get a more understanding of the issue for the Facebook link that was first posted. TheGreatestLuvofAll ( chat with me ) 16:31, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Stop removing information
[edit]Please DO NOT remove any information about the Tabitha King being a stand in, because according to these sources:[1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], she is a stand in for Helen. Also, when you search up Tabitha King Three Degrees, you will find the info. So stop removing the information about it. Oldschoollover24 ( chat with me ) 22:45, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- Please do not remove the information about their solo careers, because they actually do have solo work. TheGreatestLuvofAll ( chat with me ) 01:21, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
