Add more info for each Notable Alumni
[edit]It be a useful to this article, if all the Notable Alumni listed, had added, where missing:
- class year (the Alumni Directory at http://alum.mit.edu would be a place to start)
- a citation to an archived The Tech where they are in the masthead
- either the wikilink, or the creation of a WP biography that can survive WP:AFD with a Keep
and anything else useful. Lentower (talk) 08:52, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Add Greg Arenson?
[edit]It be useful to add Karen Arenson's husband, Greg Arenson, to the list of Notable Alumni. Best to do his WP Biography first. Lentower (talk) 08:55, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on The Tech (newspaper). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100601163736/http://tech.mit.edu/V1/PDF/N1.pdf to http://tech.mit.edu/V1/PDF/N1.pdf
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20110624185200/http://tech.mit.edu/archives/VOL_083/TECH_V083_S0007_P007.pdf to http://tech.mit.edu/archives/VOL_083/TECH_V083_S0007_P007.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Add Indexing & Microfiliming Projects
[edit]Particularly if the Index is on the web, The Tech's Indexing Project should be mentioned. Also the Microfilming Project, which was done to save the old issues as the newsprint was decaying. Likely, Tech Talk, the old MIT News Office print newspaper is online. Be better to use it then The Tech itself for citations, as its a less biased source. — Lentower (talk) 15:34, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
