[edit]Isn’t the standard disambiguator “US TV series”? Why is this one “American TV series”?--Simmerdon3448 (talk) 17:26, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- A discussion back in April/May led to this consensus. Magitroopa (talk) 18:04, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
Premiere/Specials
[edit]Nickelodeon put out a press release today (link is to NickALive post as it is not yet on the official Nick Press site) regarding the premiere of The Substitute with John Cena on October 4 at 7pm. @Amaury:, what will be done here? My best guess is that the 4 currently listed episodes will be moved to a separate "Specials" section (like on Hunter Street) since they are specifically calling the first two (4 including the "Revealed with" episodes) specials, and calling this a 10-episode order. I also assume we'll see what the next Futon Critic update does, as the production codes could change for that and the Oct. 4 episode could be made 101. Here's also an E! News article for further confirmation until Nick's press site does update with this. Magitroopa (talk) 18:19, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- Still not sure if it's worth changing anything, but the recent press release once again says "Jace Norman" and "Lilly Singh" were specials, with "John Cena" and "Ne-Yo" being previews, and that the season actually premiered January 31 with "The Bella Twins"... "Revealed with" episodes
[edit]@Amaury: As per your recent revert, I'd say Showbuzz has it wrong here. The HD Musical vs. HD Musical Sing-a-long is yes, a repeat with lyrics added on. The new content here in the "Revealed with" episodes are literally just on-screen bubbles that gives more insight/behind-the-scenes trivia and facts. As I told IJBall, "Also worth noting that later on, Futon Critic updated and now list "(R)" next two the two Revealed episodes, indicating they seem to believe it is basically just a rerun. (Production codes are also the same as the original but with a "B" at the end.) Final thing worth noting is that Amazon/YouTube does not list the Revealed episodes, only the original ones."
I watched the "Revealed with" episodes myself, and they literally are just the same as the original episodes, just with the on-screen trivia/facts, similar to how HD The Musical Sing-a-long just adds the lyrics to the bottom. I know, I know, not WP:RS, but here is a promo of the "Revealed with Jace Norman" episode, where you can see an example of some of the on-screen trivia around 0:15. (Better source via the official Henry Danger Twitter account) At this point, I would think that including the "Revealed with" episodes is not following the Futon Critic source at all, which again, later updated to say they are reruns. I'm pretty sure they updated as reruns after the episodes/ratings came out, which is why Showbuzz could believe them to be premieres. I guess we can wait & see if/when there is a "Revealed with John Cena" episode. You also say that HD: The Musical Sing-a-long is a just a repeat, but Futon Critic doesn't believe so, so they can definitely be wrong. Magitroopa (talk) 18:03, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- If you had mentioned that in the first place, we wouldn't be here. They're repeats as well, then, but Nickelodeon labeled them as originals for some reason, so they made the charts at Showbuzz Daily. Amaury • 16:12, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
