Major problem
[edit]This article seems to confuse two newspapers
- A newspaper issued from 1788 until at least the 1820s, founded by John Murray: http://archive.wikiwix.com/cache/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cardiff.ac.uk%2Fencap%2Fjournals%2Fcorvey%2Farticles%2Fdatabase%2Fstar.html
- A newspaper issued form 1888 to 1960 http://thestarfictionindex.atwebpages.com/the.htm
Without further research, I see no connection between them but the title. The Norwegian and French articles are not helpful either and perpetuate the same mistake. --Anvilaquarius (talk) 14:08, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yup, see [1], cheers, --Ghilt (talk) 23:32, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- According to that BL page the first Star began life in 1788 as the Morning Star, changed name to the Star in 1789. They have holdings up to 1831 (which doesn't necessarily mean it ended then). I would like to split this into two articles but don't know how to handle the multiple levels of disambiguation needed.Marinheiro (talk) 10:49, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
