For the tag concerning references, I have added references. As for notability I would point out that the BBC has adapted this story and that Lovecraft (Supernatural Horror in Literature), among other writers have said that M.R. James and his short stories are important in the field of horror literature. I mean for this matter to be a stub to be expanded later, but at the moment I'm trying to give M.R.
