what qualifies this film as blaxploitation? i would contend that it, much like sweet sweetback's badasssss song and putney swope, has a different agenda than the blaxploitation films, and instead, stands as a landmark in black revolutionary thought. that, and the director is black. typically, blaxploitation films are qualified as such when the director of the film is NOT black, hence the "exploitiation" of the film's cast.
