Who says this song is about white people or any particular people?

I have been reading the lyrics of this song over and over and I can not see how it could be a celebration of anything or "a celebration of black culture". I also can not see anyone besides that Washington Post saying it is. It is also interesting how there is no record of anyone saying that the snake is a is metaphor for a white person until after Trump started reciting the poem.

When Trump uses this song, he is talking about crooked government who deceive and kill their own people for love of self, money and power....a government who is a snake. Drain the Washington DC SWAMP. 75.164.52.117 (talk) 06:09, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
