It appears their 2011 song "Hugging and Kissing" was the music the doctor was playing on the beach. Lyrics are changed to more sinister ones though:

giving me love, all of you killers
all of the covers off the mattress

Not actually in the real song. Worth mentioning if source confirms. ScratchMarshall (talk) 08:43, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

While interesting, if it lacks any coverage in WP:RS it may seem to be hitting close to WP:NOTTRIVIA Eruditess (talk) 19:11, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Close-ended"

[edit]

@Drmargi: It seems we need a discussion here. Concerning your most recent edit, I added a source for the term, then you cleared that same source out to be nothing but a bare URL? No reason for that, unless you have one? What did you mean by "nor does the source support that statement"? Our edits used the same source (see this edit); the source is http://www.usanetwork.com/thesinner/. Also expanding upon my edit summary, "American close-ended crime drama mystery television series" is also too wordy. While moving the term, it is still being included in the lead. The term maybe be becoming more common, as you say, but it's not so common use yet (there is no Wikipedia page for it, or Wikictionary page, nor is it included in the miniseries article), so we need to minimize the amount of technical jargon that we use in the lead. -- AlexTW 02:51, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmargi: Any comment? -- AlexTW 22:23, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No. The term is sourced, and is the network's preferred descriptor. ----Dr.Margi 07:32, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't answer anything that I commented upon. -- AlexTW 08:18, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If there's nothing further to add, then it can be safely removed from the lead (or moved to Development) and restored with common wording. -- AlexTW 23:53, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The term is accurate, used by the network and sourced. No justification to remove. ----Dr.Margi 04:20, 9 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Refusing to actually discuss contested content is justification enough. -- AlexTW 04:21, 9 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmargi: Reinstating disputed content when you refuse to discuss the content can be classified as edit-warring. This is why you've been blocked five times for warring (and you're so fond of saying "it takes two to edit-war"). If you refuse to leave the version without the disputed content stand by forcing your version, I'll be forced to take you to the admin's noticeboard; every other editor has to discuss disputed content, why don't you? -- AlexTW 03:33, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The term and its variations have been around a while, even if by the same network.[1]Wyliepedia 18:15, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Incest in Television Tag

[edit]

This article is tagged for LGBT Content due to a scene in season 1 where Cora and has sex with her Sister, it makes no sense as to why it would be tagged for one of the themes of this scene but not the other, as it portrays a lesbian relationship that is incestuous.

Updated because CAWylie keeps undoing the edit.

Episode 6, 30 min mark. watch it. i know i said 10 min mark in the revision but that was a mistake. skip to about 34:18 if you want the exact time stamp that might interest you. --GreenPeanuts (talk) 16:50, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Character

[edit]

Shouldn’t Nadia Alexander, who plays Phoebe, be mentioned in the cast of characters? Phoebe is a crucial role in Series One. 98.183.27.92 (talk) 03:28, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
