"Episodes" section criteria
[edit]The first 3 listed in The_Simpsons_(season_24)#Confirmed_plots_and_guest_stars have titles and descriptions. Is that enough for them to be moved to the "episodes" section, or do we need dates? It might be that no one has gotten around to it. CTF83! 00:29, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- In my view they should only be in the table if their date and episode number are confirmed. Gran2 08:08, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Redirects
[edit]Does anyone know how to remove the redirects of some of the episodes, if so can you do so. Gone Abie Gone and A Tree Grows in Springfield both have redirects and I believe they are preventing articles from being created as Penny-Wiseguys did not have a redirect and now it has an article. I'm only a beginner — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bazzaboy45 (talk • contribs) 18:37, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gone_Abie_Gone&action=edit and delete the redirect there, and then write the article.Ratemonth (talk) 18:53, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- No, actually, this example shows how to do it, assuming that what Bazzaboy45 is talking about is removing the "redirect" labels from the WikiProject templates on talk pages, which I think he was, since he mentioned that Penny-Wiseguys now had an article (already, before he posted the question). In the editing example I gave, I replaced "redirect" with a "start"-class assessment, but re-assessment isn't required; just delete "redirect" and leave nothing in its place, and the templates will then display "???" in the quality (or class) field, which is fine, just meaning "unassessed". Advertising During / Advertising On
[edit]Is there a difference between "advertising during" and "advertising on"? The Ratings section says that it's the fourth-most expensive show to advertise during, but the sixth-most expensive show to advertise on. That doesn't make any sense to me. Is there a reason for this, or has there been some kind of mistake? Alphius (talk) 01:49, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
Maybe product placement? Wimpyguy (talk) 22:15, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Season Finale
[edit]Does anyone know what happened to "The Man Who Came to Be Dinner"? Why was it moved to next season, and why are they showing the episode that was supposed to be the season premiere of next season as the finale? Alphius (talk) 23:06, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
- There's been no official announcement, but it doesn't take a whiz to see that Jean and co made the switch because Seth McFarlane = ratings. Gran2 07:27, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
- It was moved to Season 26. 202.160.16.154 (talk) 09:22, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
Colour contrast problems
[edit]It seems that this article is using colours in the infobox which don't satisfy Wikipedia's accessibility guidelines. The contrast between the foreground colour and the background colour is low, which means that it may be difficult or impossible for people with visual impairments to read it.
To correct this problem, a group of editors have decided to remove support for invalid colours from Template:Infobox television season and other television season templates after 1 September 2015. If you would still like to use custom colours for the infobox and episode list in this article after that date, please ensure that the colours meet the WCAG AAA standard.
To test whether a colour combination is AAA-compliant you can use Snook's colour contrast tool. If your background colour is dark, then please test it against a foreground colour of "FFFFFF" (white). If it is light, please test it against a foreground colour of "000000" (black). The tool needs to say "YES" in the box for "WCAG 2 AAA Compliant" when you input the foreground and the background colour. You can generally make your colour compliant by adjusting the "Value (%)" fader in the middle box.
Please be sure to change the invalid colour in every place that it appears, including the infobox, the episode list, and the series overview table. If you have any questions about this, please ask on Template talk:Infobox television season. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 05:30, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
