The Music of Erich Zann?
[edit]Can anyone confirm whether this film is related to the eerily similar HP Lovecraft story The Music of Erich Zann, about a tennant who complains about the music created by the only other tennant in the building, a man who lives on the top floor apartment and makes music to drive away demons. It seems clearly inspired by Lovecraft's story, but I can't find any information linking them. -- Mike Blackney 05:30, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Have you actually read "The Music of Erich Zann" and seen this film? Any relationship between the two is extremely tenuous. About the only thing they have in common is an old apartment building in a large city. They are not similar at all. 71.200.140.35 (talk) 01:31, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- From the synopsis here, I wouldn't say the movie was based on The Music of Erich Zann, but the throw away line about a violin player could easily be a 10%er reference tossed in. 12.106.179.2 (talk) 08:15, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Sentinel movie poster.jpg
[edit]Image:Sentinel movie poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
