"the history of three old and famous cavalry regiments"
[edit]The Queen's Royal Lancers were themselves a comparitively 'young' regiment, formed in 1993 but represented, of course, four "old and famous regiments" - the 16th Queen's Lancers, 5th Royal Irish Lancers, 17th (Duke of Cambridge's Own) Lancers and 21st (Empress's Own) Lancers, (all formerly regiments of dragoons with long histories and subsequently amalgamated to form the 16th/5th Lancers and 17th /21st Lancers).
I wonder if it is worth expanding the introduction to clarify the accumulated traditions that were embodied by the Queens Royal Lancers and, I presume, represented at the museum. JF42 (talk) 19:56, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
