The subtitle "In Which Is Related How Dorothy Gale of Kansas, The Shaggy Man, Button Bright, and Polychrome the Rainbow's Daughter Met on an Enchanted Road and Followed it All the Way to the Marvelous Land of Oz" does not appear in the first edition of the book. This subtitle was added in later reprints, likely by the publisher. As it was not originally part of the book's title, I don't think it should be included in the opening sentence. It could be included, however, in discussion of the various different prints and editions if someone wanted to add such material. Nosferattus (talk) 18:54, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
